"Time spent with family is time well spent"

We celebrated Mother's day one day ahead as per usual to avoid the volume of people going to the mall on the day itself. I asked Nanay Mila (my Lola) to come with us but she didn't want to, sakit daw ng tuhod nya :( Papa didn't want to come either (takot sa tao) and my bother JR has to go to work, so it was just me, my youngest brother Toby and Nanay who went to Megamall and celebrated. Lunch was my treat then we went to see John Lloyd's movie "Just the three of us". I bought a gift for Nanay Mila since she was not able to come and then we went straight home. BTW, Ronel was not with us because he still has training at MIHCA. 

Gotta spend Father's day with Tatay. We visited him at the cemetery and had Amber's for meryenda at home courtesy of my brothers.

New Year New Me!

I totally forgot that I have a blog-site. Just remembered about it today so I tried accessing it again but since I have a tendency to forget things (hence this blogsite) I forgot my log-in details. I had a hard time retrieving my account because it has been almost 3 years since I've logged in here. Plus the phone number associated in this account is an old one as well. Thanks to an old conversation saved on my work email, after 2 hours I was able to successfully log in.

anyways...

Since it's 2016 just started, it is fitting that i write about my new year's resolution. I was never a fan of new year's resolutions, never saw a need for it before. But I did a New Year Prediction once. Being a fan of One tree hill and all, but I lost that list and was not able to check if my predictions for that year did happen. So now, I decided to do a list of my New Year's Resolution and post it online so that I can be reminded of the changes and improvements I want to happen in my life this year.

So this year I promise to:

1. Not sweat on the small stuffs
2. Be more patient
3. Be more outgoing
4. Be more smart on how and where I spend my money
5. Save atleast 30% of my salary
6. Eat healthy
7. Be active. Exercise atleast 3 times a week
8. Be more appreciative
9. Have a stronger relationship with God
10. Enhance my skills in writing, DIY projects and H&MU

Make-up

I consider myself as a make-up junkie. I sooper dooper love make-up (i mean who doesn't?!) I always volunteer myself whenever someone needs to have her face done. I've done make-up for my cousin's school programs, JS prom, debut, graduation, my friend's graduation, her wedding, and my boss's graduation. I didn't had any professional training hence, I'm always skeptical for the end result. Especially on how it would look on pictures. But so far so good. I haven't heard any negative feedback yet maybe because it's free of charge. (LOL!) Since i can't afford to go to make-up school, I take advantage of the tools i can get my hands into, like magazines, youtube and online make-up tutorial sites.
